ELKHART COUNTY, IN - A pickup truck and a minivan were involved in a deadly crash in Elkhart County on Wednesday morning, authorities said.
According to a report by WNDU, the wreck took place on State Road 13 just north of the Toll Road at the Middlebury exit shortly before 4:30 a.m.
The minivan driver died at the scene and was identified by the Elkhart County Sheriff's Office as 43-year-old Jose Rosales Munoz of Elkhart.
The man driving the pickup truck, a 20-year-old Centreville, Michigan resident, was hospitalized for chest pain.
Investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the accident.
