INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Indiana State Police issued a traffic alert on Monday morning following a fatal crash on Interstate 70 in Indianapolis.
The notification, issued at 7:09 a.m., said the single-vehicle accident occurred on I-70 eastbound at the 78.9 mile marker. No details were immediately released on who had been killed.
The right two lanes of the interstate were expected to be closed after Harding Street for at least two hours. Drivers were advised to seek alternate routes.
