INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Two vehicles were involved in a deadly collision on the near northeast side of Indianapolis on Saturday morning, according to WXIN.
Police officers responded to the 2600 block of North Keystone Avenue after the incident occurred at about 3 a.m. It was determined that a woman was driving a sedan southbound when she collided head-on with a northbound pickup truck.
The sedan driver, 56-year-old Deborah Denise Hamblin, was pronounced dead at the scene. The man driving the pickup was taken to an area hospital and was listed in stable condition. Another man who was a passenger in the pickup was evaluated at the scene and released.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the cause of the accident.
