High school student killed when car hits pole near Stilesville

HENDRICKS COUNTY, IN - A single-vehicle accident in Hendricks County early Monday morning claimed the life of an area high school student, reports WRTV.

The victim was identified as 18-year-old Cyle Sullivan of Danville, who was about to graduate from Cascade High School.

According to the Hendricks County Sheriff's Office, Sullivan was driving near the 7500 block of South County Road 550 West north of Stilesville when the wreck occurred at about 4:30 a.m.

An investigation indicated that Sullivan was headed north in a Ford Taurus and drove off the roadway at a slight curve, crashing into a utility pole.  Sullivan, the only occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced dead after being taken to an area hospital.
