LAFAYETTE, IN - Two drivers were injured, one critically, when their vehicles collided in Lafayette on Tuesday night.
According to the Journal & Courier, the crash happened at Indiana 38 and Creasy Lane at about 10:40 p.m. Lafayette police said the driver of a 2006 Hummer H3 was going west on Indiana 38 and attempted to make a left turn onto Creasy Lane.
The Hummer turned into the path of a 2001 Mustang that was going east on Indiana 38, and the vehicles crashed. The driver of the Mustang, a 17-year-old boy from Lafayette, was hospitalized in critical condition
The driver of the Hummer, 34-year-old Evens Simeon of Lafayette, was treated for minor injuries and released from the hospital. The intersection was shut down for about three hours for the crash investigation.
