Lane blocked on I-465 west in Indianapolis due to crash

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - The Indiana Department of Transportation said an accident disrupted traffic in a portion of Indianapolis during Monday morning's rush hour.

According to a post on INDOT TrafficWise at 7:54 a.m., the crash occurred on Interstate 465 westbound and affected the area from S Meridian Street to Bluff Road at about mile marker 3.4

The right lane of the interstate was blocked while emergency crews responded to the scene, and drivers were advised to expect traffic to be impacted for about an hour.
