Man, 44, killed in accident on State Road 37 in Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department released details of a fatal crash that occurred on Tuesday night, according to WISH.

Police and paramedics responded to the scene in the area of State Road 37 and Harding Street on the city's south side after a crash with entrapment was reported shortly after 7 p.m.

One man was killed in the wreck, and was identified as 44-year-old Ryan Nicholas Matthews.

The IMPD fatal crash investigation team is looking into the cause of the crash, which backed up traffic in the area.
