Motorcyclist, 20, dies after colliding with vehicle in Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Police officers were dispatched to the scene of a fatal motorcycle accident on the southeast side of Indianapolis on Monday night.

According to WTHR, police arrived in the 8600 block of Southeastern Avenue near South Franklin Road shortly after 11:30 p.m. and found that a motorcycle had been involved in a collision with a vehicle.

The motorcyclist, identified as 20-year-old Gregory Elijah Parks was pronounced dead after being taken to an area hospital.    The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

The cause of the crash is being investigated by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
