INDIANAPOLIS, IN - A man was critically injured when he was struck by a vehicle in Indianapolis on Saturday night.
According to WTHR, the accident happened on the city's far west side, in the 8600 block of West Morris Street near Bridgeport Road. The pedestrian was believed to have been walking on the side of the street and was hit by an eastbound vehicle.
Police officers arrived at about 9 p.m. to find the victim with significant injuries. He was rushed to an area hospital and was reported to be in very critical condition.
The driver involved remained at the scene of the crash, which is under investigation by Indianapolis police.
