Semi-truck crashes into restaurant near US-30 in Plymouth

PLYMOUTH, IN - Indiana State Police said a semi-truck crashed into a restaurant in Marshall County early Wednesday morning.

In a Facebook post at 7:23 a.m., ISP Sgt. Ted Bohner said the truck hit a Hacienda restaurant near US-30 on Miller Drive in Plymouth.

No injuries were reported, but photos showed the damage to the front of the establishment.  There were no details on what led to the accident.  Eastbound lanes on US-30 were closed after the crash with traffic diverted onto Pioneer Drive, but one lane had reopened by later in the morning.

Drivers were advised to expect delays when traveling through the area.
