Vehicle crash blocks southbound lanes on US 31 in Greenwood

GREENWOOD, IN - Police and emergency crews were at the scene of a crash that disrupted traffic in Greenwood on Friday afternoon.

A report by WIBC Traffic said the incident happened at 3:10 p.m. on U.S. 31 at Timberline Drive north of Worthsville. Both southbound lanes of the highway were blocked, with vehicles getting by on the turn lane.

Traffic was reported to be backed up past Stop 18 Road, and drivers were advised to use caution when traveling through the area. Greenwood Police were investigating the accident.
