Vehicle crashes into house on Larchwood Drive in Westfield

WESTFIELD, IN - A driver was taken to the hospital after crashing into a house in Westfield on Tuesday afternoon, reports WXIN.

The incident happened in the 15100 block of Larchwood Drive in the Harmony neighborhood of the city.

First responders arrived at the scene at about 3:45 p.m. after the vehicle went off the road and struck the house. Photos posted by the Westfield Fire Department showed the damaged vehicle and a fire hydrant that was toppled in the crash.

The driver was taken to Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis and was listed in stable condition. The house was occupied at the time the accident happened but no one else was injured.
