State Summer Games 2026

Standing with Special Olympics New Mexico — one finish line at a time.

On May 30, our New Mexico team had the privilege of volunteering at the Special Olympics New Mexico State Summer Games at UNM’s Track and Field Stadium in Albuquerque. The three-day event brought together hundreds of athletes and unified partners from across the state to compete in track, field, and other Olympic-style events.

Special Olympics New Mexico provides year-round sports training and competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities — building fitness, confidence, and community. Volunteering at the Summer Games was our chance to stand alongside families, cheer athletes across finish lines, and show up for an organization that truly makes New Mexico stronger.

Events like this are exactly why Keller Cares exists. Giving back has always been part of who we are, and we’re proud to support organizations that champion dignity, inclusion, and access for every person. To every athlete, coach, family member, and fellow volunteer who made this day possible — thank you. We’ll see you next year.
