BERNALILLO COUNTY, NM - An accident was snarling traffic in part of Bernalillo County on Thursday afternoon, the New Mexico Department of Transportation said.
In a report on NMRoads posted at 12:15 p.m., officials said the crash blocked the center lane on Interstate 40 eastbound at 4th Street/Exit 159A in Albuquerque. Stop and go traffic was reported going back to the area of 6th Street/Exit 158 while emergency crews worked on clearing the wreck. There were no immediate reports of injuries.
