ALBUQUERQUE, NM - The New Mexico Department of Transportation alerted drivers to an accident affecting traffic in Albuquerque on Friday afternoon.
In an advisory on NMRoads issued shortly after noon, officials said the crash occurred on Interstate 40 eastbound at mile marker 159, at the Big I interchange with I-25. Two right lanes and the right shoulder were closed on I-40 while emergency crews were responding to the scene.
