ALBUQUERQUE, NM - Police were called to the scene of a car accident in northeast Albuquerque early Tuesday morning, reports KOAT.
The crash took place at atbout 2:45 a.m. along the westbound lanes of Interstate 40 near Juan Tabo Boulevard. There was no immediate word on what led to the incident or whether anyone had been injured.
I-40 westbound was closed in the area for several hours before reopening to traffic at about 6:45 a.m.
