ALBUQUERQUE, NM - An accident was disrupting traffic for drivers in Albuquerque on Thursday afternoon, the New Mexico Department of Transportation said.
The crash happened on Interstate 40 eastbound at the Big I interchange, according to an alert on NMRoads posted at 1:20 p.m. The two right lanes were closed on I-40 eastbound as emergency crews worked the scene.
Drivers were advised to reduce their speed, use caution, and seek alternate routes. No injuries were immediately reported.
