ALBUQUERQUE, NM - Drivers were alerted to a crash that was affecting traffic in a portion of Albuquerque during Tuesday morning's rush hour.
According to an advisory on NMRoads at 7:42 a.m., the accident happened on Interstate 25 southbound at mile marker 223 in the vicinity of Gibson Boulevard. The left lane of I-25 south was shut down while emergency crews responded to the wreck.
Motorists were advised to slow down, use caution when traveling through the area, and seek alternate routes if possible.
