RIO RANCHO, NM - A bicyclist was injured after being struck by a car in Rio Rancho last week, according to the Rio Rancho Observer.
The accident happened Monday afternoon on Palermo Court, where police and paramedics were called to the scene at about 3:45 p.m.
Emergency Medical Services crews arrived to find that the bicyclist who had been hit was unresponsive. No further details were immediately released on the victim's condition.
Traffic was disrupted along Palermo Court while police and emergency vehicles were responding to the crash.
