Crash closes lanes, causes heavy delays on Interstate 25 north

ALBUQUERQUE, NM - The New Mexico Department of Transportation alerted drivers to a crash affecting traffic on Interstate 25 on Wednesday morning.

According to an advisory on NMRoads issued at 8:20 a.m., the accident happened on I-25 north at mile marker 224 in the area of Lead Avenue and Coal Avenue.

The two left lanes of the interstate were shut down while emergency crews were responding to the scene.  Drivers were advised to expect heavy delays when traveling through the area.  Further updates will be provided by our Albuquerque car accident lawyer as more information becomes available regarding the incident.
