MORIARTY, NM - An accident was disrupting traffic on Interstate 40 in Torrance County on Thursday, according to an advisory on NMRoads.
The crash happened on I-40 westbound at mile marker 185 about nine miles west of Moriarty, and was reported at 11:54 a.m. The New Mexico Department of Transportation said the left lane was closed on the interstate.
Emergency services responded and were working to clear the scene. Drivers were advised to expect traffic delays and use caution when traveling through the area.
