ALBUQUERQUE, NM - Drivers in Bernalillo County encountered rush-hour traffic delays Wednesday morning following two separate accidents, the Albuquerque Journal reports.
One crash occured in the area of Lomas Boulevard NE and Broadway Boulevard NE. It was reported to be causing backups in all directions. In another incident, a semi-truck was involved in an accident on Interstate 40 westbound near the Sedillo off-ramp. Traffic was also snarled in that area. No injuries were immediately reported in either crash.
In addition, motorists were advised to expect heavy delays and proceed with caution due to road closures on Interstate 40. The two eastbound left lanes were shut down between Carlisle Boulevard NE and San Pedro Bridge, as well as one westbound left lane between Louisiana Boulevard NE and San Pedro Bridge. Further updates will be provided by our Albuquerque car accident lawyer as more information becomes available regarding the incident.
