ALBUQUERQUE, NM - Police released details on the vehicle they are searching for in a fatal hit-and-run incident in northeast Albuquerque, KRQE reports.
It happened July 11 near Louisiana Boulevard NE and Constitution Ave NE. A pedestrian in a crosswalk at about 11 p.m. was struck and killed by a southbound vehicle. The victim was pronounced dead after being taken to an area hospital.
The driver involved left the scene heading south on Louisiana Boulevard. Investigators describe the vehicle being sought as a red Ford Focus that appeared to have a spare tire on the front passenger wheel and a possible broken headlight on the driver’s side.
