HALFWAY,NM - Drivers were alerted to a crash affecting traffic along a stretch of US Highway 62 in Lea County on Wednesday afternoon.
According to an advisory on NMRoads at 1:31 p.m., the accident happened on northbound US 62 at mile marker 76, nine miles east of Halfway, New Mexico. The northbound lane of US 62/180 was shut down as a result.
Drivers were advised to slow down, use caution, and watch for all emergency personnel and equipment in the area.
