ALBUQUERQUE, NM - Traffic was snarled in a portion of Albuquerque during Tuesday morning's commute due to a crash, the New Mexico Department of Transportation said.
The accident, reported on NMRoads at about 9 a.m., happened on Interstate 25 southbound at mile marker 226, near the Interstate 40 westbound ramp. The right lane was closed on I-25 and drivers were advised to expect heavy delays in the area.
A separate crash a half hour earlier also snarled traffic. It took place on I-40 eastbound at the Big I at mile marker 159, and closed the right lane.
