CURRY COUNTY, NM - Authorities in Curry County are investigating a deadly accident last Thursday night that involved an all-terrain vehicle, the Amarillo Globe-News reports.
Deputies with the Curry County Sheriff's Office and first responders were dispatched to the area of Curry Road 15 and Curry Road I shortly after 7 p.m.
EMS crews arrived to find 60-year-old Jeffery Joe (Jody) Ward of Clovis pinned underneath his four-wheeler ATV. Despite life-saving efforts, Ward was pronounced dead at the scene.
