ALBUQUERQUE, NM - A motorcycle rider was critically injured following a collision in northeast Albuqerque last week, KRQE reports.
Albuquerque police were called to the scene Aug. 12 on Interstate 25 near Jefferson Street NE. An investigation found that the motorcyclist was traveling at high speed when he attempted to merge onto I-25 north.
Another vehicle was at the end of the merge lane, causing the motorcyclist to lose control and become separated from the motorcycle. The rider was critically injured and brought to an area hospital.
