Motorcyclist dies after colliding with SUV in NW Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Indianapolis Police say a motorcycle and an SUV were involved in a deadly collision on Friday evening.

According to WRTV, the vehicles crashed in the 8200 block of North Michigan Road on the city's northwest side at about 6 p.m. The motorcyclist was rushed to the hospital by EMS crews and was later pronounced dead.

The SUV driver was not injured in the crash and stayed at the scene, cooperating with police.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the cause of the accident.
