Multi-vehicle collision shuts down NM 404 in both directions

ANTHONY, NM - A multi-vehicle accident shut down New Mexico State Road 404 in both directions Thursday morning, KTSM reports.

The New Mexico Department of Transportation said three semi-trailers and one car were involved in the collision that was reported at 9:12 a.m.  No one was injured in the wreck.

New Mexico 404 was closed in both directions from milepost 1 to 9 while emergency personnel were responding to the scene.  Drivers were advised to slow down and expect traffic delays.

The roadway reopened about three hours later.
