ALBUQUERQUE, NM - A crash was reported to be causing traffic backups for drivers in Albuquerque Monday morning.
The New Mexico Department of Transportation issued an alert about the incident on NMRoads at about 10:20 a.m.
The accident happened at the Interstate 40 eastbound to Interstate 25 northbound interchange at mile marker 159. The left lane of I-40 east was shut down while crews responded to the scene, and drivers were advised to expect heavy delays through the area.
