CARNUEL, NM - A crash affected traffic on a stretch of Interstate 40 in Bernalillo County early Friday morning.
According to a traffic alert from the Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office shortly after 2 a.m., the accident happened on I-40 eastbound near the Carnuel exit. No major injuries were reported.

All eastbound lanes of I-40 were closed in the area of the crash while BCSO deputies and emergency crews responded. The sheriff's office tweeted an update at 4:41 a.m. that all lanes were back open.
