ALBUQUERQUE, NM - Drivers were facing traffic backups in the Albuquerque area Wednesday morning following an accident on Interstate 40.
New Mexico 511 reported that a crash occurred on I-40 eastbound at mile marker 156, Rio Grande shortly before 8:30 a.m. The center lane of the interstate was blocked at River Bridge after the wreck as the result of a stalled vehicle, and drivers were advised to expect heavy delays.
