Motorcyclist injured in crash on Central Ave in Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, NM - A motorcyclist was rushed to the hospital Wednesday morning following an accident in northwest Albuquerque, KOAT reported.

Police arrived in the area of Central Avenue and 47th Street to find that a motorcycle had crashed.  The victim sustained injuries described as life-threatening and was hospitalized.

Central Avenue was shut down between 47th Street and 50th Street while the crash was being cleared and investigated, and drivers were advised to seek alternate routes.
