ALBUQUERQUE, NM - The Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office issued a traffic alert to drivers Tuesday afternoon following a crash on Interstate 40.
Deputies responded after three vehicles were involved in the wreck, the BCSO said in a tweet shortly before 3 p.m. It happened on I-40 eastbound at the 170 mile marker near Carnuel. There were no serious injuries reported, according to the sheriff's office.

All eastbound lanes on I-40 were shut down while authorities and emergency crews worked to clear the area.
