GRANTS, NM - New Mexico State Police responded to the scene of a multi-vehicle accident near Grants on Friday.
According to KOAT, the crash happened on Interstate 40 at mile marker 85. Grants Fire and Rescue said it involved a total of three semitrailers and another vehicle, and left several people hospitalized. The traffic accident injuries were reported to have ranged from minor to major.
I-40 was shut down while the wreckage was being cleared, and traffic was diverted until the interstate reopened later on, our Albuquerque auto accident attorney says.
