ALBUQUERQUE, NM - Police in Albuquerque said one person was killed in a rollover accident on Tramway Road NE early Saturday morning, according to the Albuquerque Journal.
Investigators said a vehicle crashed into a light pole and a traffic box near Comanche Road NE just after 5 a.m. Responding police officers found that the vehicle had rolled over and a female passenger was ejected. The passenger was pronounced dead after being taken to University of New Mexico Hospital.
There was no word on whether the driver was injured. The Albuquerque Police Department is investigating the wreck and is trying to determine whether the driver was impaired at the time of the crash.
