ALBUQUERQUE, NM - Police in Albuquerque are investigating an accident that killed a pedestrian on Monday morning.
According to the Albuquerque Journal, the incident happened along Unser Boulevard near Paradise Boulevard at about 5:45 a.m. Investigators believe a person may have been kneeling down in the roadway to pick up their dog. The driver of a Nissan four-door sedan heading north on Unser struck another car and the dog.
The pedestrian and the dog were both killed. Police believe the pedestrian error was a contributing factor in the crash, our Albuquerque accident attorney adds, but speed and alcohol were not factors.
