ALBUQUERQUE, NM - Police in Albuquerque responded to the scene of a fatal pedestrian accident on Wednesday morning.
According to a report by KOB, officers came to Central Avenue near Eubank Boulevard at about 5:30 a.m. following a report of a person laying in the roadway.
Officers arrived to find that a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle at that location. The victim, whose name was not released, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Central Avenue was shut down at Moon Street for the crash investigation before reopening later in the morning, our Albuquerque car accident attorney adds.
