MCKINLEY COUNTY, NM - Emergency crews responded to the scene of a crash in McKinley County Tuesday morning, officials said.
It happened on Interstate 40 at mile marker 47 at the Continental Divide Interchange, according to an alert from the New Mexico Department of Transportion on NMRoads at 8:19 a.m.
The incident was reported as a crash and semi fire, and the eastbound right lane of I-40 was shut down. No detour was available. Drivers were advised to expect delays, and were urged to drive with caution, reduce speed, and obey all posted traffic signs.
