Overturned tractor-trailer closes U.S. 64 northbound near Dulce

DULCE, NM - A truck accident shut down a stretch of highway in Rio Arriba County on Wednesday afternoon, officials said.

According to a crash alert on NMRoads at 11:52 a.m., a tractor-trailer overturned on U.S. 64 at mile marker 167, 31 miles east of Dulce.

Northbound U.S. 64 was shut down due to the incident. There were no immediate reports of injuries.  The New Mexico Department of Transportation said emergency services were on the scene and working to clear the wreck as soon as possible.
