LAS CRUCES, NM - A pedestrian died after being struck by a train in Las Cruces on Sunday afternoon, reports KVIA.
The victim has been identified as 42-year-old Ryan Carl Hill of Las Cruces. The incident happened in the area of Lohman Avenue and Amador Avenue at about 2 p.m.
According to investigators, Hill was struck by a BNSF train traveling northbound. The train stopped on the track after the collision and blocked railroad crossings in Las Cruces.
