ALBUQUERQUE, NM - Police were at the scene of a fatal pedestrian accident in northwest Albuquerque on Friday night, reports KRQE.
According to the investigation, a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle in front of a Walgreens store near the intersection of Coors Boulevard and Central Avenue. The victim, whose name was not released, died after he was taken to a local hospital.
Drivers were advised to avoid the area while police were investigating what caused the incident.
