ALBUQUERQUE, NM - A pedestrian died after being struck by multiple vehicles in northeast Albuquerque Saturday evening, the Albuquerque Journal reports.
The incident happened in the area of San Pedro Drive and San Antonio Drive. Albuquerque poilce said a driver was going east on San Pedro Drive when the vehicle collided with a pedestrian who was standing in the road. The pedestrian was then hit by two other vehicles, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to police, the first driver fled the area without stopping to help, but the other two drivers remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
Police are continuing to investigate the crash.
