ALBUQUERQUE, NM - The Albuquerque Police Department released details of a fatal pedestrian accident that occurred on the city's West Side, according to the Albuquerque Journal.
The incident happened September 23rd on Unser Boulevard NW near Bluewater Road NW at about 10:20 p.m. An investigation determined that a pickup truck and another vehicle were approaching a green light when the pickup driver saw the other vehicle start to brake.
A pedestrian then ran out into the street at the crosswalk but the pickup truck driver did not see him in the dark until it was too late and kept driving forward, hitting the pedestrian.
The victim, an adult male, was pronounced dead at the scene.
