ALBUQUERQUE, NM - A pedestrian was injured after being struck by a vehicle in Albuquerque last week, according to KOAT.
Officers responded to the 5200 block of San Antonio Drive NE near Interstate 25 after the incident occurred Tuesday shortly after 5 p.m. An investigation determined that the pedestrian had run into traffic lanes in the roadway and was hit by the vehicle. The victim was listed in stable condition after being transported to an area hospital.
The area was blocked off to traffic while Albuquerque Police Department officers investigated the incident. They said there was no crosswalk at the location of the crash.
