Pedestrian struck, killed by vehicle at Bowers Road and 2nd Street

ALBUQUERQUE, NM - Deputies with the Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office were at the scene of a fatal crash late Tuesday night.

In an alert posted at 11:24 p.m., the BCSO said the fatality was a vehicle versus pedestrian accident.  It happened near Bowers Road and 2nd Street.  The pedestrian who was struck by the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.  The victim's identity was not immediately released.
