SANTA FE, NM - An investigation is continuing into the death of a bicyclist fatally struck by a vehicle in Santa Fe earlier this month, the Santa Fe New Mexican reports.

The victim of the Aug. 1 incident was identified as 49-year-old Nathan Gray of Santa Fe.  Police said he was riding his bicycle in the area of Old Pecos Trail and Santa Barbara Drive sometime before 6:16 a.m. when he was hit from behind by a vehicle.  Gray was pronounced dead at an area hospital two days later.

The driver involved was believed to have fled the scene going south on Old Pecos Trail.  Police are asking for the public's help in tracking down the driver and the vehicle involved, which may have been a white and gold sedan.

Anyone with further information on the hit-and-run was asked to contact Santa Fe police.  Should any additional information come to light, our Albuquerque car accident lawyer will update this news blog.
