BERNALILLO CO., NM - Authorities issued an evacuation notice for residents in the North Valley on Sunday following a crash in the area.
According to KRQE, a vehilce slammed into a gas meter and a utility pole in the 9400 block of Rio Grande Boulevard, which is just north of Los Santos Road.
The number and extent of injuries resulting from the crash remains unknown at this time. However, due to ongoing repairs by PNM to the power lines, a portion of residents in the vicinity were instructed to evacuate for safety reasons.
