LAS CRUCES, NM - An accident involving a semi-truck resulted in highway closures in Las Cruces on Tuesday night.
According to the Las Cruces Sun News, a truck carrying fuel crashed on Interstate 10. Firefighters were notified of the incident at about 8:10 p.m. and responded to the scene.
The crash closed portions of I-10 and the Interstate 25 interchange. No other vehicles were involved and there were no immediate reports of injuries.
Fire crews from Las Cruces, Dona Ana County and New Mexico University battled the blaze, which was reported to be under control by about 9:20 p.m. All lanes on I-10 and I-25 had reopened by midnight.
