VAUGHN, NM - The New Mexico State Police have released details of a fatal rollover accident that occurred last month.
The crash took place Sept. 8 on Highway 60 near milepost 286 east of Vaughn at about 4:17 a.m. An initial investigation found that 61-year-old Bernabe Ruacho of Vaughn was driving west in a black Mercedes sedan when the vehicle went off the roadway and rolled over numerous times.
Ruacho was pronounced dead at the scene.
